The following is a suggestion for the programming schedule of a non-commercial radio station, using shows available from National Public Radio (NPR), Public Radio International (PRI), American Public Media (APM), the Pacifica radio network, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC). Note that there is no repetition of programming, which is not necessarily the best way to program a station, but I'm tired of public radio stations running the same program in two prominent time slots. This schedule is designed to show that it is possible to avoid such repetition in a quality schedule. If a station, say, ran Morning Edition from 6-9 (repeating one hour) and dropped Democracy Now from my suggestion, I certainly wouldn't complain...
This schedule was updated in 2010 to reflect available programming.
